In the quest of professions and historical places
On this tour we can take a look at very old but still existing professions in Csíkszentdomokos and we can participate to a quick presentation of the colourful traditional clothing of the local people.
Our first stop is in Pásztorbükk, a place where prince-bishop Báthory Endre was captured and killed. During our tour we learn about the historical significance of this place and about its legends. After that we visit a sheepfold where we can taste cheese and orda (a sort of whey cheese).

The detailed programme of the tour
9:30
Meeting in Csíkszentdomokos, we go on horse carts to a blacksmith’s workhouse where we can test some of the tools used by the blacksmith. After that we take part in a quick presentation of traditional clothing.

We go to Pásztorbükk, a place where prince-bishop Báthory Endre was captured and killed.

Having lunch at the shepherd’s place

Arriving back to Csíkszentdomokos
