This tour is organized in the mountains surrounding the village Csíkszentdomokos and it offers a great view of the Békás – Nagyhagymás National Park, of the Csík alps and that of the Hargita mountains.
We start from Csíkszentdomokos and go by carts (one or two carts – it depends on the number of people) and we take one or two saddle-horses with us for those who would like to ride.
The aim of the tour is assuring the possibility of wandering in the nature for those with a family or with friends. In this way, even those people who don’t have any horse-knowledge can see and experience the beauty and secrets of horse-riding. Horses are hitched to the cart, so anyone can ride on them safely, but if someone is brave enough he/she can ride independently.
At lunchtime we take a visit to a shepherd’s place where you can learn about the shepherds’ everyday life, you can taste cheese and orda, then we go back to Csíkszentdomokos.
