One-day ride –sheepfold visit

We ride to Pásztorbükk where prince-bishop Báthory András was murdered. During our tour we get familiarized with the historical background of this place as well as with the legends of the place and the shepherd’s life. We get a wonderful view of the Harghita mountains, of the Csík Alps and that of the Hagymás mountain.

Tour programme

9:30

We meet in Csíkszentdomokos, we saddle the horses and pack in our saddlebags.

10:00

We leave for Pásztorbükk, here we offer our guests the possibility of learning about the historical background of this place.

13:00

At lunchtime we visit a shepherd’s place, we taste cheese and orda (a sort of whey cheese)

15:00-16:00

We return to Csíkszentdomokos.

The price includes: horse, horse equipment, guiding, accomodation, meal, visiting the museum and also the national costume presentation.

The price doesn’t include spirits and insurance.

What you need to have: raincoat,waterproof boots, gaiters, head lamp,water bottle, helmet, sleeping bag.
